Custom Built Studio

ABOUT THE PROJECT

This gorgeous custom built barn-inspired self-contained studio was originally built as an office space and additional accommodation for visiting family. The studio features a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and private plunge pool.

The building sits beautifully within the rural landscape of the Berry property, aided by the stunning landscape design, which perfectly complements the rustic barn structure. The ironbark rough-sawn cladding has been left raw, allowing the timber to grey with age and the building settle gently into its surroundings.

The interior of the studio is modern luxury, featuring polished concrete floors, a cathedral ceiling with exposed rafters, v-groove lining and custom made black collar ties, and contemporary square set cornices. Custom cabinetry has been created for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom and complemented with Carrara marble benchtops and tiles.

The project was completed over a 4 month period.
