off-grid haven, Berry Mountain

Custom Built Home
ABOUT THE PROJECT

Morrow Building undertook an architecturally designed, extensive renovation to this isolated home, nestled in a gully atop Berry Mountain, to strict BAL flame zone requirements. Featuring a sleek brick and Colorbond steel façade, ensuring flame zone compliance, this home is a sight to behold. This project was designed by Chapman Architecture.

Modestly appointed inside and out, this home features 6 bedrooms, 2 living areas, a custom concrete pool and viewing deck overlooking the mountain ranges to the south.

With no access to any town utilities, this home is a self-contained, off-grid haven.

LOCATION OF PROJECT

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"I am amazed at the transformation from start to finish. From what was a rundown, derelict house with an overgrown garden, to a contemporary 6-unit complex with clean lines and unique textures created by the many building materials used in this project, all of which are highlighted by the timber feature walls."
